Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn
Ella Minnow Pea is a girl living happily on the fictional island of Nollop, named after Nevin Nollop, creator of the immortal phrase, “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.” Now Ella finds herself acting to save her friends, family, and fellow citizens as the island’s council progressively bans letter from the alphabet as they fall from a memorial statue of Nollop.
Limited free copies of the book will be available. Discussions will be held in-person at the library locations indicated.
